What you’ll be doing

As a member of a 6-person APAC marketing team and reporting to the Digital Manager, you will be responsible for driving our digital and performance marketing across the region: Japan, China, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and drive our digital and performance marketing initiatives across the region with an aim of acquiring and retaining customers across both ecommerce and retail sales channels

  • Take ownership of the digital marketing roadmap and work with in-country digital marketers across the region to support their execution

  • Be the key point of contact for all digital marketing platforms at Trek APAC, willing to assist with execution and training – social media, Facebook ads, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Iterable, JustUno, and country-specific channels like Naver, Yahoo, Line, and WeChat

  • Build a sense of community among our regional digital marketing team, set up learning-sharing sessions and help develop a performance-driven culture

  • Analyse in-country digital marketing initiatives, work with our analyst to build reports, and provide recommendations base on the data you see

  • Establish goals and KPIs, and break down contributions by channel and country

  • Lead the APAC rollout of digital web projects - e.g. communicating and coordinating testing of new website features

  • Lead the APAC rollout of our new email service provider, Iterable; learn the platform yourself, coordinate and provide training to our teams in region

  • Oversee the and content strategy, providing review and coordination support to the region

  • Collaborate with the retail, product, and brand marketers to bring strong digital planning to support their campaigns

Who you are

  • 5+ years of proven performance marketing experience and are ready to step into a role where you will lead more than execute

  • Good energy; you like to get stuff done fast and you can collaborate with anyone across different cultures and from diverse backgrounds

  • Passion for health, sport and/or fitness

  • Experience using digital channels to influence key steps in the customer journey from brand awareness through to conversion and retention

  • Analytical, data-driven approach

  • Solid knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads

  • Comfort with self-learning new digital channels

  • Experience with training others

  • Excellent project management skills

  • Ability to work with people across different cultures and from diverse backgrounds

  • Experience across both retail and ecommerce industries preferred

  • Knowledge of HTML and Handlebars is preferred

  • Fluent in English, bonus if you speak any Asian languages!
