ASQA assistant
Bicycle industry leader, the Giant Group, are seeking a vibrant, energetic and motivated individual to join our After Sales and Quality Assurance Team. We are looking for an individual who not only shares the passion for cycling, but can relay this in the form of a strong work ethic. The successful applicant will be required to assist our ASQA team to provide high levels of service and support to retailers and consumers.
Job responsibilities:
Reporting to the Sales Manager, this role will require you to work with other members of the ASQA team to:
Achieve the companies warranty claim resolution targets
Process all warranty claims in a timely and proficient manner
Ensure that all warranty claims are appropriately assessed and that the required information/documentation has been provided
Consult with the ASQA Manager to implement solutions for problem cases
First port of call for ASQA related enquiries
Address aftersales service and warranty enquiries from retailers, consumers and Giant Group Staff and Agents in a proficient and timely manner
Attend to all dealer enquiries in a proficient and timely manner
Address all emails in a proficient and timely manner
Assist the Sales Manager and ASQA Manager as required
As well as assisting with ASQA this role will require an element of customer service which will at times require the following:
Ensuring incoming telephone calls are answered in a friendly, professional and timely manner
Creating and processing of sales orders for retailers
Communicating with customers through various channels
Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary
The successful candidate would possess the following attributes and qualifications:
A passion for cycling
Good knowledge of bicycle products. Previous bicycle industry (retail or wholesale) experience will be viewed favourably but is not essential.
Have the ability to communicate and liaise effectively and professionally with retailers, consumers and other staff members on a daily basis
Maintain a strong work ethic and the ability to work well under pressure
Work well in a team environment
Be able to multitask and possess strong time management skills
Essential computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook)
