Our team is seeking an experienced and successful Bid Manager that loves trails, riding bikes, and the outdoors! Common Ground Trails is reshaping the world utilising trails to create outdoor enthusiasts and the next generation of environmental stewards. We work across planning, design & construction of trails and cycling facilities in both urban and natural spaces. Our work is currently primarily focused on Mountain Bike trails and pump track design and construction, but we work across all trails and outdoor disciplines.
Common Ground Trails requires an awesome team member to meet existing and growing demand for our services, and to help us deliver on our mission to a broader client base. Working primarily with State and Local Governments Australia wide, we are renowned for our high quality and high energy project execution. As a leader in the organisation, the Bid Manager reports to the Director and is required identify and secure significant new business opportunities.
Co-ordinate and lead bid activities for strategic opportunities.
Effectively develop and manage the bid process, including; sourcing opportunities, preparing tender responses, estimation, managing deadlines, presentations and data analysis
Business development and sales skills to ensure a high conversion rate or opportunities to revenue growth
Maintain current and trend information on competitor activity
Drive formal feedback capture and analysis on all submitted bids (for bids both won and lost)
Establish and maintain a knowledge database and proposal systems to streamline targeted Advisory pitches and proposals
Proficiency in Project Gantt charts and Project Management software
Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and sales analysis
Strong working knowledge of MS Office packages and other project management software
Adobe Indesign/Creative Suite (desirable)
