Bike mechanic/builder - Gold Coast

Our showroom boasts a large variety of bikes to suit every type of rider out there, whether you are looking to commute to work, explore our hinterland roads, race local crits/triathlon or shred some trails. Our brands include Specialized, Trek, Scott, Focus, Cervelo, Santa Cruz, Pivot and more!
Our in-house workshop offers over 100 years combined experience amongst our team to perform any type of build or repair on riders' bikes, from changing a tube to complete service overhauls.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking two experienced and enthusiastic bicycle mechanic/builders to join our team, full-time employment on offer with a 3 month probation period. The role will include the following tasks:
Servicing and assembling high-end performance road, mountain and electric bikes to the highest standard
Performing troubleshooting utilising manufacturer software
Professional communication with riders about service progress, raising additional issues/concerns and/or additional costs
Maintaining our hire fleet and setup of riders on bike hire bookings
Help workshop manager maintain stock levels for workshop
Carry out warranty work of all types
Book service enquiries via walk in, phone or email if required to do so
Weekend work
WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN OUR TEAM:
A passion for cycling!
Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role with an ability to demonstrate
Self-motivated, able to work autonomously with direction of the workshop manager
Attention to detail is key – a keen eye for the perfect build/repair is essential
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Highly organised, strong time management skills and show initiative to improve the rider experience.
