The Bike Shack is looking for a motivated and friendly bicycle salesperson who
has mechanical experience and/or an experienced bike mechanic to join our
team.
We would consider hiring either a bicycle salesperson or a bike mechanic,
however we are preferably looking for someone who could fulfil both roles.
Must be 18+ years of age.
Our shop is a family-owned business of 17 years. You’ll be working with the
owners who have 30+ years of mechanical and business knowledge and love
what they do.
This is a secure casual position with flexibility of hours.
What we are looking for from you:
- A good mechanical understanding of bikes with experience working as a bike
mechanic
- A passion for bikes and the cycling community
- Excellent customer service skills and experience in bike sales
- Honest and reliable
- Friendly and polite
- Knowledge of bikes and accessories
- Clear verbal, phone, and computer communication
- Experience in retail
