Lead the Finance function globally
ROLE PURPOSE:
This is a senior role across the Pedal Group that will help shape our future, working towards an IPO over the next few years. Our Finance function, with growth & geographic expansion, now requires improvement in processes, systems, efficiencies, creating greater alignment across the group.
This is newly created role, with core functions split into three areas:
Leadership
Finance discipline leadership across the Group, creating greater alignment across the teams
Lead contact for key external relationships including Banking, Tax & Audit
Finance function transformation setting up scalable processes, systems and efficiencies
Providing strategic recommendations to the Board, CEO & Operational leaders (with the ability to own projects & execute on plans)
2. Financial Control
Basics in place including Accounting accuracy in line with standards & reconciliation processes
Cash flow management, including managing liquidity levels & Treasury functions
Compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements
Leading the Budgeting & reporting processes
Risk management, including the implementation of internal controls
3. Commercial
Analytical skills to help make better business decisions, improving return on investment
Cash flow management, including leading the capital allocation process
Forecasting focus enhancing systems & processes
Reducing costs through expense management & development of a procurement process
Lead Merger & Acquisition projects, including financial modelling

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Formal Qualifications
Degree qualified
CA / CPA
ASX listed experience (strongly preferred)

Experience in leading finance teams
Strong commercial acumen & analytical skills
Technical competence in financial control, treasury and statutory obligations
