Your primary responsibilities:

Your role will include but not be limited to:

  • Assessing and processing credit applications, including credit limit approvals

  • Responsibility and management of existing customer credit limits including

  • Ongoing risk monitoring and alerts

  • Credit limit reviews making recommendations according to customer risk profile & spend


  • Releasing customer orders and liaising with Sales on customer accounts

  • Distribution of monthly customer statements

  • Collection of outstanding debt via targeted communication strategy

  • Investigating and resolving credit collection issues

  • Minimise bad debt write offs by ensuring all avenues of collections are exhausted

  • Management of ATA’s PPSR register

  • Key contact of ATA for credit reporting agencies

  • Provide general assistance and undertake other duties as required or as directed by Management from time to time to ensure successful achievement of team goals.

As the ideal candidate, you will have:

  • Existing experience in a credit controller role, ideally 3 to 5 years.

  • Extensive customer engagement experience, particularly focused on providing high levels of customer service

  • Strong experience or capability influencing outcomes

  • Sound negotiation and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • The ability to work with a dynamic and intelligent team who are motivated by results, take the business seriously but do not take ourselves too seriously.

  • Amazing attitude in line with Advance Traders philosophies.
