Customer service rep - Brisbane

Advance Traders Australia has an exciting opportunity for a motivated, team player to join their growing Internal Sales Division based in the Head Office in Bowen Hills, Brisbane. The role is a key interface between HQ and dealers and as such a person of diligent nature, personable disposition and willingness to get the job done is sought. The role will also require frequent communication and cooperation with field based sales representatives, as well as other teams within the business such as marketing, finance, operations and brand leaders.

The role will include, but is not limited to, first response to high level of incoming sales calls, first call resolution, building and fostering strong business relationships with current and new customers over the phone, working within a team environment to achieve sales targets, completion of necessary administrative tasks as required and be responsible for various other day to day needs to ensure the success of the business.

Prerequisites for the role :

  • At least 1-3 years internal phone sales experience

  • Experience in, and or knowledge of the Bicycle Industry is preferred but not essential

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Professional approach and a self-driven nature

  • Cheerful and sunny disposition

  • Pronto system knowledge preferred

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel.

We actively seek to hire team members who have a demonstrated record of experience and success. You will need to be a self-motivated highly proactive individual who can work as part of a broader team. Your experience will show 1-3 years in a similar role with relevant qualifications helpful but not mandatory. You will need to be committed to success and delivering year in year out growth in a rapidly expanding and highly competitive sector. You will need to prove that you have at least intermediate computer skills as well as being a confident and very capable communicator.
