KWT Imports is Australia's longest-serving bicycle parts and accessories wholesaler beginning in the late 1950's. We are currently engaged in a high level of internal development and therefore, are seeking an additional team member to assist with the growth of our portfolio of brands. The Role: The role is a multi-tasked position that includes the roles of Administration, International Logistics, and Warranty Management focusing primarily on warranty management systems, inbound shipment coordination and general administrative tasks. The successful candidate will be working closely with the Company Director to perform a wide variety of both guided and self-directed logistics, administrative and communicative duties. The ideal applicant will be a team player and be willing to assist with tasks across all areas of the business. They will need to be highly analytical and will thrive in a high-pressure environment with overlapping deadlines. It is important that the successful candidate can demonstrate patience and flexibility as the role develops and grows with the business. Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update company databases

  • Develop a working relationship with Suppliers

  • Manage payments to suppliers and spread freight over purchase orders

  • Correspond with suppliers, freight forwarders and customs to ensure shipments are on track

  • Manage an incoming shipping calendar to relay accurate ETA's and related information across departments

  • Perform coordinative tasks as a bridge between inbound delivery and warehouse receiving

  • Participate in various development projects to improve supply chain management

  • Manage the warranty processing system for customers

  • Organise a filing system for warranties for each brand

  • Liaise with Suppliers to claim warranty reimbursement

  • Develop and implement business systems to improve efficiency

  • Document policies and procedures for future reference

  • Occasional Customer service duties

Requirements: Skills, Education & Experience:

  • Min 2 years industry experience in related field

  • Strong ability to retain new knowledge on internal systems and software

  • Strong organisational ability, able to multi-task and prioritise overlapping deadlines

  • Knowledge of international logistics operations and freight forwarding

  • Strong people and relationship management skills

  • A likeable, engaging personality

  • Proactive problem solver

  • Keen eye for detail

  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong computing skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, Acrobat

Non-required, Highly Advantageous Skills:

  • Data analysis experience

  • Experience with MYOB

  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems

  • Actively engaged in the cycling/ mtb scene

This role is a casual position, 16-24 hours per week with the opportunity for a permanent position after at least one year and demonstration of growing aptitude. It is an exciting opportunity for professional growth and with the potential for career progression.
