Head of digital sales - Melbourne


At Knog we are a Melbourne-based but globally distributed Cycling & Outdoor brand that is proudly celebrating our 20th Anniversary this year. Admired the world over for our ground-breaking, design-lead products and irreverent communications, we're proud of the fact that we are not like other brands in our space. Following 2 years of experiential growth, we are now looking to consolidate our success by ensuring our global eCommerce offering is at the same level as our products. We are now looking for a hands-on, entrepreneurial, eComm expert to help guide us through this next critical step of our brand evolution. Core Responsibilities

  • Set and lead execution of Knog’s global eCommerce strategy.

  • Lead growth strategies to deliver against sales targets.

  • Manage the eCommerce P&L by establishing reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), with a focus on return on investment (ROI).

  • Manage external agencies & partners to deliver against the eComm strategy.

  • Oversee both Knog's own eComm channels globally and Amazon account

  • Work with sales & marketing teams on ideas, planning & campaigns

  • Develops recommendations for promotional activity enhancements and product offerings.

  • Ability to connect departments, including Sales, Brand, Customer Service, Operations and Finance, to solve problems and improve the customer experience.

Key Competencies and Expected Behaviours

  • A strong & entrepreneurial spirit, we’re looking for someone to lead and take the rest of the business along with them.

  • Management experience of eCommerce & Digital within a similar position at an online-focused retail business.

  • Proven success in developing or supporting a global digital strategy

  • The ability to formulate strategies to exceed business objectives and overcome challenges.

  • Experience in operating in multiple countries.

  • Exceptional analytical and project management skills

  • Experience in Shopify PLUS, Klaviyo, and Google Analytics is ideal

  • The ability to expand the digital team via new hires that you will need to support our ambitious targets.
