About the Role

The Inside Market Developer is responsible for working at various levels within a company to ensure that it satisfies and excels its PSIC customers’ needs. You will perform at a high level of customer service and work in collaboration with accounts, warehouse and Field Sales Reps to assist with meeting MX, MTB and OBA category objectives and overall sales revenue targets.

  • Fulfil customer requirements for B2B web training and catalogues, as well as full product pricing, images, product descriptions, etc.

  • Coordinate customer warranty returns and completes proper documentation on a timely basis.

  • Support FMD’s and the wider team with daily sales update reports, manage retailer held orders, backorder clearing, upcoming shipment allocations etc.

  • Working with outside field market developers to hit daily, weekly and monthly sales targets

  • Stay current on existing and emerging product and technologies.

  • Report competitive conditions and feedback from customers to management.

  • Support maintenance and report any issue or inconsistency on B2B and B2C (sites). B2B and B2C (sites) are our key selling tool and must provide accurate and relevant information for retailers and riders.

  • Drive sales support through inbound / outbound calls with retailers by utilizing customer service skills and building strong relationships based upon product/category and marketplace expertise.

  • Taking inbound calls relating to Sales, Process customer orders and/or enquires as well as upselling and cross selling

  • Follow up on all issues relating to customers, credits, operations/delivery, back orders and replenishment

  • Advise relevant staff/departments of any specific customer requirements

  • Connecting and building rapport with dealers through a range of channels including phone calls, emails, SMS;

  • Create and maintain excellent customer relationships

  • Ensure that all customer details are updated when necessary

To be successful you will have;

  • Exceptional organisation skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Proven experience and understanding of wholesale & retail sales (preferably in the sports action industry).

  • Passionate about customer service, engagement and experience

  • Is able to confidently negotiate and mediate with a positive attitude, creating win-win outcomes for customers

  • Possess good people skills and have an outgoing, bubbly personality

  • Have excellent communication skills

  • Can build strong, long-term relationships with customers

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft outlook, excel, word, power point

  • Able to work independently

  • Passion for action sports and adventure
