Inventory Controller - Part Time

Bicycle Superstore, a trusted and respected multi-store retailer within the cycling industry is needing a keen and passionate individual to work closely with the Store Manager, overseeing and managing inventory both inward and outward bound.

As the Store Inventory Controller, you will be offered the opportunity of permanent part-time employment with flexible working hours making it a great opportunity to fit around a busy lifestyle.

The right candidate will enjoy the challenge of working with and receiving of stock, balancing supplier invoices against purchase orders, have a keen eye for detail and love working as part of the team.

Bike knowledge is not essential with preference placed upon previous experience working in a fast paced environment in a similar position. You must be able to work autonomously and be comfortable working with a variety of computer systems and programs such as Microsoft Excel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the management of inventory systems and processes integral to the management of inward and outbound inventory.

• Receiving of Supplier Invoices ensuring that stock is entered into the system accurately and in a timely manner.

• Adhering to strict stock control processes and system ensuring stock loss is minimised through accurate record keeping.

• Overseeing and conducting in-store rolling stocktakes as scheduled monthly.

• Communicating any stock discrepancies to Store Manager and or Senior Management ensuring that processes are followed to correct any discrepancies.

• Playing an integral role within a fun, passionate and inclusive team, helping deliver excellence in customer service.

• Organisation of back of house stock systems and ensuring that areas are kept tidy and presented to a high standard at all times.

• Pricing and labelling of all stock

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Advanced computing skills including Microsoft suite

• Excellent communication (both written and verbal)

• Experience in the FMCG industry and/or retail experience

• High attention to detail and a can do attitude

• Ability to work collaboratively with initiative and enthusiasm!
