Trek is seeking an IT ERP (ORACLE J.D. Edwards Distribution) Analyst.

Position Description

The IT ERP (ORACLE J.D. Edwards Distribution) Analyst provides outstanding IT support to Trek subsidiary offices and Trek Owned Retail stores across APAC Region (Australia, Japan, China, Korea and New Zealand).

You can work from our APAC Head Office in Canberra or work from home if you reside in another location.

Position Responsibilities

  • This position reports to the APAC IT Manager and support the global ERP JDE System and its various modules – Sales, Claim Management, Advanced Warehousing, Pricing, Costing, Purchasing, and Inventory as well as working with Internal Business User customers. Also provides support to Financials, Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable modules.

  • Interfacing with business teams, external vendors, partner IT teams and Trek global IT teams throughout the development lifecycle of multiple and concurrent activities, projects, and system implementations to analyse business requirements and develop detailed specifications.

  • Ensuring that the architectural, business, coding, design, and quality standards for the J.D. Edwards applications/reports are met.

  • Business as usual Support for IT applications primarily ERP JD Edwards.

  • Support subsidiary offices and retail stores across APAC with IT support, troubleshooting and issue resolution.

  • Work with the Global ERP and IT Teams to ensure global standards and best practices.

  • Provide first-and second-line support to Trek office users across APAC.

  • Work across multiple time zone (Asia Pacific & US) to support regional users and collaborate with US Teams.

  • Work with the APAC IT Manager to work on the issues for the region.

  • Perform a 2IC role for the APAC IT manager to cover all areas of IT for the Asia Pacific region.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Information Technologies or related discipline and around 10 years of J.D. EDWARDS E1 experience is required.

  • Expertise in configuring, designing, enhancing, and maintaining applications for ERP (JDE) Distribution Processes: Knowledge of business distribution, supply chain, inventory and financials, as well as a sound technical understanding of IT processes are essential.

  • Knowledge of Standard EDI integrations is essential.

  • SQL Syntax knowledge and the ability to write Microsoft SSRS reports is highly desirable.

  • Sound knowledge of BI systems and backend databases and their interconnections with the ERP database is required.

  • Strong Analysis, Design, Development, Problem Solving, and Process Management Skills is required.

  • Exceptional business and technical listening, oral, and written skills is required.

  • In-Depth understanding of Software Development/Engineering Methodology in Development, Production, and Testing Environments with Standards Documentation is required.

  • Experience with DSI or dcLINK script logic for Scanners or Transform Overlay development or Loftware Labeling development, or SOA/Oracle Fusion Middleware development is desirable.
