About the role

Trek is looking to hire an experienced IT Technician to provide outstanding IT support to Trek subsidiary offices and Trek Owned Retail stores across Australia and New Zealand. A successful candidate will be self-motivated and open to opportunities within a rapidly changing organization in a high growth environment.


  • Support subsidiary offices and retail stores across ANZ with IT support, troubleshooting and issue resolution.

  • Work with the Global IT Infrastructure and Global IT Retail team to ensure worldwide common solutions and ensuring global standards.

  • Provide first and second-line support to Trek office and Trek Retail internal users across ANZ.

  • Install new PC hardware and software to tight deadlines and provide continuous support for both.

  • Support a diverse range of hardware solutions.

  • Support and implementation for Trek Owned Retail stores in Australia with local hardware and networking requirements.

  • Install and support Meraki networking equipment in retail stores.

  • Microsoft AD accounts and email account administration.

  • Provide IT security training to store staff and keep the Trek network safe.

  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation of IT retail solutions.

  • Work with the APAC IT Manager to work on the issues for the region.

  • Support for retail telephone solutions.

About you

  • Graduate level education

  • Around 5 years’ experience in an IT support role with an emphasis on aligning business requirements with IT solutions and project work

  • Knowledge of PC hardware and installs

  • Understanding and experience of networking architectures

  • Used to multi-tasking and working to tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment

  • Flexible working hours and availability at weekends in exceptional circumstances

  • Travel across Australia may be required for initial installs of Meraki, PCs, and printers in new stores.

  • Strong written/verbal communication skills

  • Ability to prioritize in a changing, demanding environment
