Liv Cycling brand Assistant - Melbourne
Bicycle industry leader, the Giant Group, are seeking a vibrant, energetic and motivated individual to join our marketing team. We are looking for an individual who not only shares the passion for cycling, but can relay this in the form of a strong work ethic. The successful applicant will be required to assist our marketing team with the roll out of marketing activities and promotions for our women's Liv Cycling brand, and possible future expansion into other brands within the Giant Group.
Reporting to the marketing manager, this role will require you to work with other members of the Giant Group marketing team to roll out designated activities for the Liv Cycling brand including:
Maintenance of social media accounts including sharing engaging content and monitoring of inboxes and comments
Suggesting and implementing new initiatives to enhance brand awareness such as promotions and competitions
Assistance in keeping the Liv Cycling Australia website up-to-date
Management of sports marketing and ambassador programs and activities
Presenting Liv marketing and/or product initiatives to retailers, ambassadors, and Giant Group staff at both physical and virtual events
Maintaining a consistent high-level of communication with respect to Liv marketing initiatives in both a B2B and B2C environment
As well as assisting with marketing activities this role will require an element of customer service which will at times require the following:
Ensuring incoming telephone calls are answered in a friendly, professional and timely manner
Creating and processing of sales orders for retailers
Communicating with customers through various channels
Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary
The successful candidate would possess the following attributes and qualifications:
A passion for cycling and/or women's health and fitness
Basic knowledge of bicycle products. Previous bicycle industry (retail or wholesale) experience will be viewed favourably but is not essential.
Have the ability to communicate and liaise effectively and professionally with retailers, consumers and other staff members on a daily basis
Maintain a strong work ethic and the ability to work well under pressure
Work well in a team environment
Be able to multitask and possess strong time management skills
Essential computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook)
Excellent copywriting skills
Previous social media, digital marketing and digital communications experience will be highly regarded
