Job Description

We are currently offering an opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us as a Marketing Communication Manager. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based at our Head Office in Clayton and may involve occasional domestic and international travel.

Position responsibilities will include:

  • increasing awareness of Bosch eBikes Systems in Australia and New Zealand

  • creating 360 degree of marketing communications strategy aligned to global strategy

  • managing marketing agencies to ensure positive relationships and facilitate high quality work

  • collaborating with partners, and actively developing networks in the bicycle industry to drive growth

  • observing and providing market information to Bosch eBike System Asia-Pacific office

  • developing and maintaining yearly B2B and B2C marketing communication strategies for Bosch eBike Systems in Australia & New Zealand

  • sourcing, identifying and patching external marketing providers when needed

  • establishing and forecasting business relationships with partners, proactively develop networks in the bicycle industry

  • adopting local marketing materials across print, digital, PR and events

  • tracking and documenting marketing tasks and continuously improving the performance

  • managing budget for marketing communication programs

Qualifications

The successful applicant will be results oriented, have the ability to prioritise tasks to meet tight deadlines, be a team player and have excellent relationship-building and communication skills.

To be considered for this position you are required to meet the following criteria:

  • bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, business administration or another related field

  • strong experience in marketing or communications related role (PR and Online Event)

  • capability to manage, plan and execute marketing campaign projects

  • a general understanding of the cycling market and an interest in cycling activities (advantageous)
