Bicycle SA is the peak body for recreational and commuter cycling in South Australia. Our mission is to get more people cycling. We advocate on behalf of all recreational cyclists, deliver year-round programs and events, and are the largest non-government provider of cycle tourism in South Australia, with the biggest program of touring and recreational cycling activity in Australia. Established in 1982, we deliver over 2,000 free community rides per year and run some of the biggest mass-participation rides in South Australia. About the position Bicycle SA is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our team. We are on the hunt for a dynamic and passionate individual on either a part-time or full-time basis to work from our Keswick Office. The successful applicant will work closely with the team in a cross-organisational role that is pivotal to Bicycle SA’s ongoing success. The Marketing Coordinator will assist in developing the marketing strategy, implementing it effectively to engage and grow our membership products and ride tour activities within the cycling community. The role will also assist in the delivery of digital partnership benefits provided to our sponsors. Duties include • Prepare marketing and advertising strategies, plans and objectives • Social media and digital knowledge and experience • Some graphic design knowledge • Contribute to the development of marketing campaigns, ensuring that the print and online presence of the company is up-to-date and effective • Ensure all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals, identifying and executing improvements for processes, content and membership and participant acquisition and retention. • Prepare marketing activity reports and metrics for measuring success About you We are looking for a marketing all-rounder, preferably with a background in the cycling industry and/or has a keen passion for cycling or sport. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and motivated individual to assist us in achieving our growth targets in membership and ride event participation. This position would suit a generalist modern marketer looking to grow and make their mark in a community orientated organisation delivering wonderful outcomes. Skills and Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications • Past work experience as a marketing coordinator or similar role • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing • Experience with research using data analytics software • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills • Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel and PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications • Familiarity with Eventbrite events platform • Website maintenance (Go Daddy Platform) • Working knowledge of HTML, design, and email software To apply please submit your application and cover letter.
