Marketing manager - Bright
Tourism North East (TNE) is the Regional Tourism Board for Victoria’s High Country, which encompasses the Shires of Alpine, Murrindindi, Benalla, Indigo, Mansfield, Towong and Wangaratta, and the three major alpine resorts of Falls Creek, Mt Buller and Mt Hotham.
TNE is charged with:
Developing the strategic tourism direction for the High Country,
Communicating the Victoria’s High Country (VHC) and Ride High Country (RHC) brand propositions to our target markets,
Uniting our diverse stakeholder base on a common path to drive visitation and economic outcomes, and
Delivering a broad range of strategic supply and demand tourism initiatives, including regional marketing, product development, strategic planning, industry development, investment prioritisation, research and advocacy.
These efforts are focused on the five recognised tourism product strengths of Victoria’s High Country: cycle, snow, nature-based activity, food & drink and arts & cultural heritage.
Due to staff movement we are hunting for a dynamic and passionate Marketing Manager to join the TNE Marketing team. The Marketing team is responsible for positioning Victoria’s High Country as an attractive and appealing tourism destination amongst its target markets, driving visitation and creating positive economic outcomes.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Marketing Manager will play a key role in the realisation of Tourism North East’s VHC and RHC marketing strategies, working closely with TNE’s Industry Development, Communications and Digital teams and the region’s stakeholders.
Key responsibilities will include campaign development and delivery, brand management, asset production and sharing, content production, conversion, stakeholder management and collaboration. Travel within Victoria’s High Country to understand the region’s tourism experiences is expected and encouraged.
