Membership coordinator - Melbourne
Bicycle Network believes that physical activity & sustainable transport is vital for a happy, healthy community – that’s why we make it easier for everyone to ride a bike. We have about 50,000 members who we keep in constant contact with to understand the needs and motivations of riders across Australia.
We are looking for a savvy and friendly membership coordinator to liaise with our members. Reporting to the Membership Manager, you’ll play a core role in driving membership numbers through renewal, acquisition and win-back outbound call campaigns. You will work with the wider Bicycle Network team to move towards a happier, healthier and more sustainable community.
You will need to be comfortable and confident talking to members over the phone, as this role involves plenty of outbound calling. We need someone who is adaptable and has the ability to think on their feet to responds to member questions or issues.
This is for a part time role, three days a week. Our ideal candidate would be available to work between 10am and 6pm.
We’re looking for someone who:
• can role model Bicycle Network’s values and behaviours • cares about getting people of all backgrounds and abilities riding • is flexible and adaptable to new ways of working • is willing to develop and learn from experts, including our volunteers • is committed and honest • has strong CRM and Excel skills • has patience and persistence – you’ll have some long days when no one answers, but that won’t slow you down
Bicycle Network is committed to ensuring our team represents the diversity of our community. Women, Indigenous people, people with disability, young people and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
