PROJECT MANAGER – MOUNTAIN BIKE AND WALK TRAILS
Our team is seeking a highly experienced and awesome Project Manager to join our team in Margaret River. Common Ground Trails is reshaping the world utilising trails to create outdoor enthusiasts. We love trails, riding bikes, and the outdoors! We work across planning, design & construction of trails and cycling facilities in both urban and natural spaces. Working primarily with State and Local Governments Australia wide, we are renowned for our high quality and high energy project execution.

As a key leader in the organisation, the Project Manager reports to the Operations Manager and is required to lead and manage multiple small and large scale projects and team members. Working closely with up to six site supervisors, you will have an open and friendly personality combined with a strong work ethic and can-do attitude.
Your qualifications must include:
Tertiary qualifications in Project Management or relevant field
Minimum 5 years’ experience within a civil/construction environment or a similar role
Proven and successful experience in leading complex projects with a large number of stakeholders in challenging environments.
Strong understanding and/or passion for mountain biking, trail infrastructure construction and associated industry practices highly desirable.
Your technical skills will include:
Well-rounded experience in design, tendering, project planning, scheduling, estimating and contracts management
Demonstrated commercial acumen, ability to manage budgets and identify new opportunities in the changing landscape
Sound understanding and ability to manage and implement Occupational Health and Safety requirements associated with civil construction
Strong working knowledge of MS Office packages and other project management and job management software
Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic work environment with shifting priorities.
