Property acquisition manager - Brisbane


Pedal Group Property is the business responsible for the delivery and maintenance of freehold commercial retail sites to the 99Bikes network of cycling retail stores.

With approximately 70 locations across Australia and New Zealand and an aggressive growth plan in both countries we are seeking an experienced property professional to join our dynamic team to help deliver the next round of outstanding retail locations for 99Bikes. Your role will encompass property searching, buying, refurbishing or development if needed, negotiating the lease and maintaining the properties over time. Your diligence and communication skills will see you interact with a wide range of stake holders including real estate agents, local councils, town planners, builders and tradespeople, valuers and of course the property and leadership teams at 99Bikes.

Required skills:

Proven experience with suitable site selection accompanied by a detailed and comprehensive understanding of the acquisition process

Ability to run a detailed and accurate feasibility study for each transaction and ongoing ownership

Strong negotiation skills, and a keen willingness to seek market value, across varied property interested parties

Diligent skills regarding documentation and record keeping

Understanding of property and construction language and terminology

Excellent interpersonal skills

Willingness and ability to travel

Minimum 5 years’ experience in acquisition of commercial properties
