Reid Cycles is a leading Australian bicycle brand with 5 stores in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. We also operate a thriving online store. We’re now looking to employ a dynamic, profit driven Store Manager for our Sydney store. To be successful you’ll need to have a history in retail management.

Experience with the bicycle industry is highly regarded. It is a hands-on role where you will be involved in sales, bike building, servicing bikes.

About the role:

  • Recruiting, training, supervising and appraising your team (small team of 3-4 staff)

  • Managing rostering

  • Dealing with customer enquiries

  • Assist with bike building and servicing (further training provided)

  • Overseeing stock control and stock ordering

  • Maximising profitability and setting/meeting sales targets

  • Maintaining store presentation

  • Liaising with senior management

About you:

  • Have an absolute commitment to providing customers with the best service possible

  • Be organised and methodical to follow company procedures, as well as bringing in your own

  • Know how to build a passionate, and success driven culture in your team

  • Be a self-starter and problem solver

  • Have good financial and expense management understanding

  • Someone who will bring new ideas and their strong management skills and experience to the team.

  • Good bicycle knowledge
