Apply now for an Auto Skills Australia Churchill Fellowship to travel overseas for 4-8 weeks to investigate inspiring automotive practices and meet with sector leaders. Use theknowledge and experience you gain from around the world to make a difference in Australia.

 

The new Auto Skills Australia Churchill Fellowship is for projects that will increase industry expertise and knowledge for the benefit of the automotive sector and its allied industries. This includes manufacturing, retail, service, repair, recycling, administration and infrastructure to support:

 

  • light and heavy passenger and commercial vehicles (cars, buses, trucks & trailers)

  • specialised vehicles such as fire engines, emergency service vehicles and street sweepers

  • heavy vehicles used in mobile plant machinery, agriculture and road transport, and 

  • bicycles, motorcycles, marine, and outdoor power equipment

 

Projects may include research, investigation and observation of automotive industry practises and processes that are not readily available in Australia. The undertaking of training and skills development that is specific to the automotive sector and not available in Australia will also be considered.
