E-bikes are a ctritical part of the Australian bicycle sector making up almost 50% of all bikes sold from independent bike dealers, but with a spate of fires impacting on insurance, Government policy and public opinion, the industry is at risk of being severly restricted.
The program
On Friday the 19th of Jan, the BIA hosted an industry forum on the key issues relating to lithium ion battery management.
With key speakers from leading law firm Clayton Utz, SA Fire Authority, B-Cycle and Envirostream, the presentations and Q&A session led the discussion on the key issues the industry is facing in riding the growth of the ebike market.
