Job role and responsibilities
Daily scheduled bike servicing of all brands and types of bicycles
Building of custom bikes
Maintain a clean, tidy and well organised workshop and wash bay and shop
Prioritise daily scheduled jobs
Maintain workshop inventory levels
Process warranties
Interacting with customers in store, over the phone and via email
Maintain a clear level of communication between workshop, retail staff and customers
Skills and experience
-Minimum 3 years experienced as bicycle mechanic
-Experience with building and servicing top end Italian bicycles.
-Experience with custom, high end bike builds
-Excellent knowledge of Shimano Di2, Sram ETap, Hydraulic disc brakes & wheel building
-Must be clean, tidy and well organised
-Must be flexible and adaptable to change, have excellent problem solving skills and initiative when faced with problematic jobs
-Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (both over the phone and via email)
-Experience with inventory and stock control management within a workshop.
-Able to work independently, without supervision and in a teamed environment
-Passion for the industry is a must, along with attention to detail and ability to multi-task
-Hard working, energetic and self motivated
-Honest, reliable & punctual
-Excellent presentation
Must have full work rights; Australian citizen or permanent resident
