We’re looking for an experienced, passionate Bike Mechanic to join our friendly, fast-growing team in the Byron Bay / Murwillumbah region. If you love working on bikes, enjoy helping riders get the most from their gear, and thrive in a positive workshop environment, we’d love to hear from you.

About the RoleYou’ll be responsible for high-quality servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and builds across a wide range of bikes—from daily commuters to performance road and mountain bikes. This role suits someone who can work independently, deliver consistent workmanship, communicate clearly with customers, and contribute to a supportive team culture.

What You’ll Do

• Complete general servicing, advanced repairs, and full rebuilds

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical (e-bike) issues

• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workshop

• Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner

• Assist with inventory, parts ordering, and workshop workflow

• Support occasional events, rides, or community initiatives

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years professional bike mechanic experience (or equivalent skills)

• Strong knowledge of modern components, hydraulics, wheel building, and e-bike systems

• Solid attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship

• Excellent communication and customer-service skills

• Reliability, positive attitude, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
