Peninsula Star Cycles is one of Frankston's oldest businesses established in 1946. It sells quality bikes, parts and accessories and provides a full workshop service. We are looking for a bicycle mechanic to join our friendly and collaborative team. Experience in bicycle mechanics, good communication and customer service skills are essential for this position together with a friendly “can do” disposition. “Bike shop versatility” with mechanical experience, problem solving skills and computer literacy are essential. The role includes repairing, servicing and building of bikes with attention to quality process; receiving of workshop jobs, customer liaison and job fulfillment. Experience in using Point Of Sale software to record sales transactions; and to price and track workshop jobs is required. Rostered shifts would be 4 to 5 days a week, negotiable; with a 9.30 start time. Remuneration Hourly rate, depending on experience and demonstrated ability.
