Experienced Bicycle Mechanic with a proven track record!!
This leading bicycle retailer is looking to secure an established mechanic on a full-time basis for the long term. The successful candidate will have been working in a commercial workshop environment for at least 2-4 years and be committed to the occupation. Due to being a small business, the successful candidate would not only be a more than capable mechanic but would also be able to help out on the sales floor when the need arises! A master of multi-tasking is what we are after!!!
The Role
This position will report directly to the Workshop Manager. The successful candidate will be a valuable team member but have the confidence and knowledge to work autonomously. The role will involve Bike Service Assessment, fulfillment and Quality Control. You will be required to work with customers, establishing and fulfilling their expectations. The successful applicant will be set productivity targets that will need to be met daily. Weekend work will be required.
Previous mechanical experience must include working on both E-Bikes and folding bikes, knowledge of Brompton Bikes would be looked upon favorably. The successful candidate would be remunerated appropriately and there is also an attractive bonus scheme attached to this position if productions targets are met or exceed.
