Specialized has an opening for an Accounts Payable expert to join our office in Melbourne. The role reports to the Finance Manager and is a key member of our Finance team supporting our Australian business. This role will also be a key part of a number of Finance related IT projects to make the day to day easier!
HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
You love to match, code and process invoices and all things AP
You love hitting deadlines and making sure people and companies are paid on time
You love getting into the detail of the finance and banking systems and making improvements
You will chase down the ‘late employee’ with a smile and a gentle nudge who hasn’t submitted their expenses on time
You take pride in being part of local and global projects for system improvements and if you need help you reach out
You also don’t mind filing, organising office chaos every now and then and being that person that we all rely on

SOME THINGS THAT WILL BE AN ADVANTAGE
You have 3+ years’ experience with accounts ideally in the Retail / Consumer Products industry
You are proficient in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel and Outlook
You are a self starter and thrive on meeting deadlines and you like working in a fast paced environment
You have experience in automating AP/AR and implementing process improvements
