The Role
The City of Vincent is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Active Transport Officer to join our team.
The role involves working closely with the City's strategic planning and operations teams to reduce private car use through promoting walking, cycling, and public transport. The candidate should have a passion for providing high-quality transport planning services to both internal and external stakeholders. Key responsibilities include developing policies and strategies for sustainable transport, collecting transport data, collaborating with different teams, contributing to the development of the Integrated Transport Strategy, and implementing programs to promote sustainable transport options for the City's employees, residents, and local businesses. The role also involves preparing grant applications, advising on budgets, and assisting in developing webpages.
The Candidate
The City is seeking an excellent communicator with strong transport skills, experience in analysing and providing innovative solutions to ensuring our City is a Green and Safe space that meets our community expectations.
