99 Bikes, The World’s Most Approachable Bike Shops are seeking an enthusiastic, driven and highly self-motivated Assistant Category Manager to join our Brisbane Support Office team. This full-time role will suit an ambitious individual who has a real passion for category management and driving exceptional performance in a fast paced environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Assisting category managers in achieving sales targets

  • Assisting category managers with pricing and promotional planning

  • New product creation

  • Accurate reporting & analysis for category managers and planners

  • Engaging with Suppliers and other key stakeholders to achieve outcomes

  • Strong engagement with our store network

  • Providing other key administrative support for category managers and planners

We look for:

  • A proven track record of high achievements

  • Strong attention to detail

  • A knack for numbers with an analytical mind

  • Strong levels of communication (both written and verbal)

  • A willingness to learn and take initiative

  • Solid skills in Microsoft Excel and Word

  • A passion for Bikes/Health and Fitness highly regarded

Knowledge of category management, marketing and sales principles highly regarded. Previous experience within Retail Assistant Category Management roles highly preferred (Interest in bikes is a bonus!).
