We are looking for a Bicycle Mechanic to join our growing team, and help us increase the capacity of the workshop to meet the demands of our growing local area and customer base, and help us continue to build on the great work already being performed.
There are a number of key attributes that a Bicycle Mechanic will need to have in their skillset to excel in this role, including but not limited to, a comprehensive knowledge and ability to diagnose and fix a wide array of bicycles across all categories. An ability and knowledge of custom build options and understanding of modern ‘industry standards’ including but not limited to e-bikes, wireless shifting, suspension technology, wheel building, hydraulic brake bleeding, internal routing, and the ability to build bikes to a set high standard in a timely fashion. We are looking for a Bicycle Mechanic that also has the ability and desire to solve problems and find solutions for scenarios like the all-important ‘my bike is creaking’ feedback from a rider, by way of diagnosis and using an elimination process to repair… A successful candidate will also need to have good self-awareness and a high level of accountability on their own work, has an ability to follow directions, work on tasks with others in a respectful and timely manner, who wants to contribute and work as a team player, and is comfortable working towards achieving business KPI's.
