Daktari Sport is South Australia’s premier regional bicycle store in operation for over 25 years.
Situated in Mount Gambier in the south east of South Australia we are a family owned business with a passion for outdoor sports. Daktari is an equal opportunity employer and we are seeking a motivated salesperson who has a keen interest in the cycling industry.
Our ideal candidate will:
Customer service - draw on your own passion for sports and be happy to share your bike riding, bicycle tips and experience with customers
Bike building / repairs - you are able to perform basic troubleshooting and repairs, as well as build bikes to a high standard
Merchandising - you are able to take responsibility for things like managing stock levels and stock display so that the customer can easily find the right products for their needs.
A bit about the role:
Available for start in the next 4 weeks
38 hours per week
Remuneration - competitive with benefits
Retail Sales with some Workshop/Mechanics ability
We are looking for:
Prior experience in the retail industry
Mechanically minded - must have an interest in, or some experience with bicycle mechanics
Team player
Proven problem-solving skills
Shows initiative
Strong communication
