The Opportunity: We are excited to offer roles within our Paint Department. We are looking for everything from trainees to experienced spray paint technicians as we expand our team. Our bicycles require highly detailed work, with fine masking and multiple layers of colours including colour shifts, pearls and flake finishes. Even 23k gold leaf on occasion. The role is suited to those who enjoy challenging themselves and get satisfaction from undertaking detailed work. The Role: Paint Technician - Full Time You will be asked to perform some or all of the below tasks: - Spray painting - Spray mask weeding and application - Sanding, blocking, and surface preparation - Polishing - Cleaning and organisation - Quality inspections Certification: You must already have, be currently enrolled in, or willing to undertake a Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing Technology or associated field. Experience: If you are a trainee we do not expect a lot of work experience, but you must enjoy working with your hands and know how to manage hand and power tools safely and proficiently. If you are experienced, having worked with detailed painted products such as bicycles, motorcycles, hot-rods, helmets, etc will be highly regarded.
