Omafiets is Sydney's premier destination for commuting, electric, cargo, touring and bikepacking. We're a shop that aims to make cycling accessible to everyone, and turn Sydney into a cycling city.

We're looking for someone to join our team in a permanent full-time position, working Monday to Friday 8am-4pm, starting immediately.

We're looking for someone who has experience to run our busy workshop. As the face of the workshop, you'll:

• help customers with enquiries regarding the workshop (phone, email and in person)

• use your extensive knowledge of bicycle repairs to quote workshop jobs, including parts and labour

• special order parts for customers from our numerous suppliers

• train mechanics

• manage warranties with suppliers

• organise workshop stock

• test ride all bikes, and quality control the work done by mechanics

It's essential that you:

• have a deep knowledge of bicycle repairs, but are happy to let others do the actual hands-on tasks

• enjoy talking to people

• are cool under pressure

• are polite and friendly

• are a clear and effective communicator

• are fluent in using computers

• are a keen bike-rider
