Bike mechanic - Adelaide


As a Bicycle Mechanic at Bike Society, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing bicycles for our customers. This is a full-time position based in our workshop in Adelaide City, SA.


What you'll be doing

  1. Diagnose and repair a variety of bicycle issues, from basic tune-ups to complex mechanical problems.

  2. Perform routine maintenance and servicing on bicycles, including adjusting brakes, derailleurs, and other components.

  3. Assemble new bicycles, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards.

  4. Provide excellent customer service, offering guidance and advice to customers on bicycle care and maintenance.

  5. Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment.

  6. Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the workshop.


What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience as a bicycle mechanic, with a strong understanding of bicycle systems and components.

  2. Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.

  3. Ability to work efficiently and accurately to meet deadlines.

  4. Good communication and customer service skills.

  5. Commitment to safety and attention to detail.

  6. Enthusiasm for cycling and a passion for providing high-quality bicycle services.
