Are you a skilled bicycle mechanic who loves working with bikes and the latest electric bike technology?

Electric Bikes Superstore Adelaide is looking for a strong, experienced bicycle mechanic to join our workshop team in a unique role. We are after someone that can work in both our store workshop and our mobile workshop.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly capable bicycle mechanic who is confident working independently while also supporting the wider team.

Workshop Environment

You’ll be working in a well-established and busy workshop specialising in electric bikes, with modern tools, diagnostic equipment and a steady stream of service work. We value skilled mechanics and aim to create an environment where you can focus on doing great mechanical work while being supported by an experienced retail team.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Building new bikes and e-bikes• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues• Servicing Bikes• Servicing electric bike systems (with training)• Providing technical advice to customers• Working with a small team of mechanics• Driving van and mobile workshop trailer (initially 2 days a week)• Delivering and picking up bikes

What We’re Looking For

• Extensive experience as a bicycle mechanic• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills• Excellent customer service and communication• Ability to work independently and within a team• A positive "can-do" attitude• Passion for bikes and cycling

Bonus but not essential:

• Experience working with e-bike systems• Bicycle mechanic certification

Position Details

Full-time, Part-time or Casual. We are open for discussing with the right person.

Working hours:

• Monday – Friday. Option for Saturday work if you would like.
