My name is Mark Renshaw and I have spent my whole life in the cycling game. I opened Renshaw’s Pedal Project in May 2020 and have been looking after Central West cyclists since.
We are looking for a dedicated Senior Bicycle Mechanic to join our team in Bathurst.
With a minimum of 3 years experience as a mechanic in a bicycle shop required to apply for this role, we are looking for someone to join our incredible team and work on a wide range of bikes from high-end road bikes and e-bikes, to children's bikes.
We work with top brands in the industry, including Trek, Cervelo, Focus, Santa Cruz, Cannondale, Shimano, SRAM, FOX and many more.
As we are a regional bike shop you will be required to perform a large range of responsibilities:
Deliver outstanding customer service
Work on a wide range of new and used bikes and brands.
Greet and connect with customers
Manage customer sales/servicing orders
Book in-service jobs and perform work on a wide range of bikes
New Bike builds
Handle warranty management and ensure clear communication
Keep workshop areas clean and organised
Follow checklists/procedures to ensure efficient operations.
We are looking for someone who:
Has a passion for bicycles
A strong knowledge of bike parts and accessories
Is positive, energetic and friendly with customers and other staff
Has attention to fine details
Shows strong work ethic, works independently and is self-motivated
