We are looking for a dedicated Bicycle Mechanic/Sales Assistant to join our team in Bathurst, NSW.

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Bicycle Mechanic to join our team in Bathurst. This is an opportunity to become part of a locally owned, independent bike shop where quality workmanship and genuine passion for cycling are at the heart of everything we do.

We require a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a bicycle mechanic, with the confidence to work across a diverse range of bikes—from high-performance road bikes and e-bikes through to everyday commuters and children’s bikes.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their craft, enjoys problem-solving in a hands-on environment, and wants to be part of a supportive team that values skill, reliability, and a strong connection to the local cycling community in Bathurst.

We work with top brands in the industry, including Trek, Cervelo, Focus, Santa Cruz, Cannondale, Shimano, SRAM, FOX and many more.

About us

My name is Mark Renshaw, and I have spent my entire career in the cycling industry. I established Renshaw’s Pedal Project in May 2020, and have been proudly supporting cyclists across the Central West ever since.


As we are a regional bike shop you will be required to perform a large range of responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service 

  • Work on a wide range of new and used bikes and brands. 

  • Greet and connect with customers

  • Manage customer sales/servicing orders

  • Book in-service jobs and perform work on a wide range of bikes

  • New Bike builds

  • Handle warranty management and ensure clear communication

  • Keep workshop areas clean and organised

  • Follow checklists/procedures to ensure efficient operations.


We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a passion for bicycles 

  • A strong knowledge of bike parts and accessories

  • Is positive, energetic and friendly with customers and other staff

  • Has attention to fine details

  • Shows strong work ethic, works independently and is self-motivated

Negotiable salary based on level of experience and skill set.
