Bike mechanic/bike sales - Bendigo


A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Bicycle Mechanic/Sales Person to join the energetic team at Bicycle Centre Bendigo. As a casual employee with a possible full time opportunity in the future, you will be responsible for providing top-notch bicycle repairs and maintenance services, as well as assisting customers with sales and product recommendations. The role is based in our Bendigo, Victoria location.

What you'll be doing

  1. Carry out expert bicycle servicing, repairs and maintenance to the highest standards

  2. Provide excellent customer service, offering product advice and guidance to help customers find the perfect bicycle or accessories

  3. Manage the retail sales process, including processing transactions and maintaining inventory

  4. Collaborate with the team to ensure a smooth and efficient workshop and retail operation

  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest bicycle models, technologies and industry trends

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience as a bicycle mechanic, with excellent technical skills and knowledge of bicycle repair and maintenance

  2. Strong customer service orientation and the ability to provide engaging and informative sales support

  3. Keen interest in the cycling industry and enthusiasm for sharing your passion with customers

  4. Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with the team

  5. Flexibility to work a casual schedule, including rostered Saturday mornings.
