Specialized has an opening for a Bicycle Mechanic to join our team at Studio De Velo in Sumner. You have a passion for bikes and a broad technical background with bikes and love providing excellent service to our riders.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
You enjoy meeting and making a connection with riders and helping to repair their bikes
You love all things technical about bikes
You assist with bike sales with technical consulting, and any other sales floor duties as needed
A clean workshop is important to you and you enjoy learning about new technology and products
You enjoy using systems such as Hubtiger and are proficient with computers
SOME THINGS THAT WILL BE AN ADVANTAGE
You have 2+ years’ experience as a Bicycle Mechanic
You are a self starter and thrive on meeting deadlines and you like working in a fast paced environment
You are able to work to a roster which includes Saturday’s
You love to interact with riders
You are proficient in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel and Outlook
You are able to lift at least 25kg or more and use proper lifting skills
