Rival Bikes is searching for an awesome person to be our numero uno mechanic.
Rival Bikes is a family owned and family operated bicycle store in the Brisbane sea side suburb of Wynnum. We are all about family, fun, friends, fraternity and bikes. We take our work seriously but we don't take ourselves too seriously. We love pizza and dogs too.
The community is our lifeblood and we pride ourselves on giving our best to each person that comes to us.
THE POSITION:
Daily tasks include:
Having fun.
Bike servicing.
Booking services and repairs.
Managing workshop supplies and staff.
Working closely with the Store Manager.
Working to the highest standard of care on all jobs.
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Being friendly and willing to engage with customers about their servicing and retail needs.
Being part of a team environment.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
We are looking for:
Solid experience and proven track record in bicycle assembly and servicing, across mechanical and electronic setups.
A team player. Think of this as a team time trial.
A squared away operator who can lead and motivate.
Someone who can tell a good joke and put a smile on faces.
