For our new Bikeline Brisbane Bikeshop (formerly Studio de Velo) we are looking for a Senior Mechanic to join our team on a Full time or part time basis.

If you love working on bikes and if you love the outdoors this is your opportunity to join a team of cycling enthusiasts.

As a Specialized retailer we get to work on many awesome bikes. From high end Road bikes to an entry level kids bike it is our vision that each bike leaves our shop so the rider can have an excellent experience on it.

Your role will be hybrid in the sense that you will mostly be on the tools as a senior mechanic, you'll come out on the sales floor if needed.

If you want to mix it up, you can even come out and join guests on bike rides with our rental fleet of bikes on the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail.

The Bikeline group of shops stands for high quality bicycle service and is a place where everyone keen to explore or continue their cycling journey is welcome. With bikes ranging from entry level to S-Works we have something for every family member.

We have 2 retail stores in Toowoomba and Brisbane that offer access to a multitude of bicycle brands and accessories as well as all possible bicycle servicing. Then from our third Bikeline Ipswich location we offer bicycle rentals (a fleet of over 50 bikes) for the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, shuttles and bicycle services.

Candidate requirements:

• At least 5 years experience in a bike mechanical role

• You are a cyclist MTB, Road or gravel.

• Positive attitude and can do mentality

• Nice to have: Drivers licence and the ability to get a licence valid to transport passengers (police check)

• Must have valid work authorisation to work in Australia
