Bike mechanic - Launceston

Due to continued growth, Roll Cycles are seeking to add an additional Bike Mechanic to our Launceston Store! 

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the best cycling stores around and Tasmania’s Premium destination for all things Bicycles.

Our team is made up of riders who are passionate about all things bikes and promoting the cycling lifestyle to everyone from beginners buying their first bike, to those with a different bike for every day of the week! 

You will be an important member of our team, with a network of amazing like minded colleagues behind you for support. You will be responsible for consistently performing bicycle repairs and delivering an extraordinarily high level of customer service. You should have experience in the industry, be eager and enthusiastic.

Key Responsibilities/ Skills

  • Experience with all facets of servicing, building and repairing bicycles is a must

  • Submit, repair and follow up on warranty claims

  • Ability to maintain shop cleanliness and tidiness

  • Retail/customer service experience

  • Have an eye for detail

  • Take pride in your work

  • An absolute passion to be successful and part of a high performing team

  • Ability to work unsupervised

  • Be organised with the ability to efficiently time manage and prioritise tasks

  • Exceptional communication skills

  • Exceptional negotiation and selling skills
