🚴 Bicycle Mechanic / Workshop Manager WantedLocation: Sprung (a small but mighty family-run bike shop)Start Date: After Winter – with time to settle in before Summer hits!

Are you a seasoned bicycle mechanic with a genuine passion for bikes, trails, and good banter? Want to work in a place where your skills are valued, your opinion matters, and you get to ride with legends on Thursday nights? Sprung is on the lookout for someone like you to join our crew.

This role isn’t just a job – it’s a ride. You’ll be a vital part of our close-knit team, helping keep our customers' dream bikes rolling, our workshop humming, and our community stoked.

🔧 What You'll Be Doing:

  • Building and servicing customer bikes to a high standard

  • Carrying out 50hr & 200hr suspension servicing (in-house across multiple brands)

  • Helping customers spec and build their dream rigs

  • Collaborating with the team on service assessments and customer recommendations

  • Managing daily workshop workflow and job scheduling

  • Occasional opening/closing the shop and keeping everything running smoothly alongside other staff

  • Working a 38-hour week + occasional overtime

  • Leading our weekly Shop Ride on a rotation with other staff (Thursdays 5:30–7:30pm) – followed by burgers, beers & trail talk 🍔🍻

  • Supporting our community events and in-store gatherings throughout the year
