Position Overview

As a Service Technician, you'll be the heart of our service department — delivering industry-best mechanical work, engaging with our cycling community, and supporting our high-end sales through expert technical advice and after-sales service. You’ll work closely with the sales and fitting teams to ensure every rider leaves with a perfectly dialed-in bike and a reason to come back.

This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented technician who loves bikes, customers, and being part of a growing, dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee all service work with a strong focus on quality control

• Provide clear, professional communication with clients to build trust and ensure satisfaction

• Help develop and execute strategies to grow the service department

• Meet and exceed monthly service revenue targets

• Assist with post-fit adjustments alongside our expert bike fitting team

• Maintain a tidy, professional, and well-organized workshop

• Recommend and manage servicing charges and job quotes

• Stay up to date with evolving bike technologies – including e-bikes, electronic drivetrains, suspension systems, tubeless setups, and more

• Manage workshop stock and order parts as required

• Assist with sales of bikes and accessories, ensuring correct installation of purchased components

• Support shop rides and community events as a friendly, knowledgeable presence

Additional Contributions

• Participate in regular inventory management

• Attend training sessions, service clinics, and bike fitting courses

• Contribute to the business’s online presence through workshop-related content

• Develop and maintain a professional-level bike cleaning environment

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of bicycle mechanic experience (preferably with premium brands)

• Deep knowledge of modern bike technologies and servicing techniques

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Self-motivated and team-oriented

• Right to work in Australia

• High standard of personal grooming and presentation

• A love for riding, learning, and being part of a supportive cycling culture
