The Bicycle Company is a well-established bicycle store serving the local community for over 50 years. We are an enthusiastic team of mechanics and sales staff who all ride and are passionate about cycling and the cycling industry. We are currently seeking an experienced Bicycle Mechanic to join our Workshop Department Team. Our goal is to build, expand and develop our Workshop Department and continue to provide an outstanding level of bicycle service, repair, and maintenance. We cover high end performance bikes, MTB, eBikes, commuters, recreational and the entire family’s bikes.
About the role and responsibilities You will be required to provide accurate service & product advice to our customers and work on a wide range of bicycle makes and models.
Bike repairs, servicing and problem solving
Assembling bikes ready for sale
Maintaining a safe and tidy workshop
Ordering parts from suppliers
Ability to adhere to company policies and procedures
Assisting with customer enquiries on sales and technical issues
About you
As a valued member of our team, you will have -
A minimum of 2 years’ experience working on all types of bikes
A passion for bicycles, the industry, and the community
You’re all about delivering great customer experiences and going the extra mile
The ability to assemble both factory delivered & ground-up custom bike builds
Experience servicing Mountain bike suspension and e-Bikes is an advantage
You have a positive attitude, are reliable and thrive in high paced environment
Have a willingness to learn and work as a team
Highly organized, strong time management skills and proactive
