The Position:

Reporting to the Manager, Recreation and Mobility you will work with a variety of customers with various levels of physical needs. Working alongside an experienced Bike Mechanic, you will build, service and repair customised bikes, trikes and tandems.

Skill and Experience:

  • Mechanically minded and some mechanical experience in a related field is desirable. You will receive specialist training and mentoring to develop your ability to customise in this specialist area;

  • A positive, solutions focused outlook;

  • A great attitude and no task will be too big or too small;

  • You will support the team to ensure all bikes are built within a reasonable time frame and the workshop is kept clean and organised;

  • You have a passion for bikes and riding and have a desire to provide inclusion for all;

  • You are highly motivated, and able to demonstrate initiative;

  • You are punctual, energetic and willing to learn;

  • You will enjoy working in a team environment;

  • Current Police Clearance (WA)

  • Current Working with Childrens Check (WA)

  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check

  • Valid Australian Driver's Licence.
