Jet Cycles is a premium performance cycling store specialising in premium level bikes from Specialized and Factor. We are seeking a Senior Mechanic & Operations Lead to manage our service centre and drive operational excellence.

This is a leadership role for an experienced technician ready to step up.

This role requires approximately 70% hands-on mechanical work and 30% operations management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead daily workshop operations

• Oversee workflow, scheduling and quality control

• Perform advanced servicing and high-level bike builds

• Maintain workshop efficiency and accountability

• Manage service KPIs and operational processes

• Support inventory flow and workshop organisation

• Deliver exceptional customer service

• Contribute to overall store performance

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years' experience as a senior bicycle mechanic

• Proven leadership or workshop management experience

• Advanced technical skills across road, triathlon, gravel and e-bikes

• Extensive experience servicing road bikes, time trial bikes, and electronic shifting systems

• Strong organisational and time management skills

• High attention to detail and quality standards

• Process-driven and outcome-focused mindset

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Highly Regarded

• Previous service centre management experience

• Sales or shop floor experience

• Experience with premium or performance bike brands
