Bike mechanic - Sydney


Happy Wheels is seeking a Bicycle Mechanic with at least 3 years' experience to join our team in Sydney's Inner-City/Eastern Suburbs. This role is 3–4 days per week, working in a high-quality workshop servicing and building premium brands including Cervélo, Focus and Look. During high-volume periods, 5 days' work will be available.

The role

As part of our team, you will:

  • Service, repair, and build bicycles to Happy Wheels' standards;

  • Diagnose and solve mechanical issues efficiently;

  • Provide friendly, knowledgeable advice to customers;

  • Assist with customer service and sales when needed;

About you

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has at least 3 years' experience as a bicycle mechanic;

  • Has specialised experience working with performance and racing bicycles;

  • Possesses strong mechanical ability and attention to detail;

  • Is comfortable working within established procedures;

  • Excels in problem-solving, thinking creatively to find effective mechanical solutions;

  • Is reliable, friendly and team-oriented;

  • Takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized workspace;

  • Communicates clearly with customers and colleagues;

  • Is comfortable using computers for workshop tasks;

  • Is available to work Saturdays.
